Chef John Karbowski is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University,
the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners and the International
Culinary Academy and has worked for chefs such as: Massimiliano Alajmo
in Italy, Gerard Vie in France and Simon Haigh in England. He spent
nearly a decade in the Bay Area at restaurants such as Cetrella, Pampas
Palo Alto, El Paseo and Casanova in Carmel. He recently returned to
Pittsburgh and he is a graduate of Bishop Canevin High School.
This prize includes:
A pre-event meeting with winner for menu planning and getting acquainted with their kitchen, their serving pieces and dinnerware
Menu development
Shopping for all groceries
Dinner preparation in their kitchen on
the day of the event using their pots, pans and large and small
appliances if necessary. He will supplement with his own equipment as
neccessary
Serving dinner
Clean-up - Your kitchen, pots, pans, serving pieces and dinnerware
will be left as found; the host will be responsible for putting
everything away
