A Note from the 2014 Auction Committee

Dear Family, Friends, and Guests,

Welcome to the 15th Annual Holy Trinity Auction. Thank you so very much for joining us in support of Holy Trinity Catholic School!  We hope you will enjoy a wonderful evening.

As we celebrate the 60th anniversary of Holy Trinity School, we are reminded of the school’s simple beginnings as an education center offering five grades.  Through the vocation of the Sisters of St. Francis, teachers, and parents, the school now houses a beautiful gymnasium and fine arts stage, a fully equipped Science Lab, classroom Smart Boards, a Computer Lab, and newly updated Library and Music facilities.  Holy Trinity is able to offer its students a wide variety of extracurricular activities in sports, academics, and the arts.  All of this physical growth and academic enrichment is possible in large part because of the success of school fundraising events such as the Auction.  We work to continue this success so that our school can flourish.

For this year’s Auction, we are excited to implement new mobile bidding technology!  It is our belief that such technology will first and foremost expedite administration of this fundraiser, but also enable the Auction to reach new and greater financial goals.  We expect that you will find mobile bidding easy to use and entertaining.

We continue to be humbled by the extreme generosity of our school and parish families who have donated a great number of the items that you will bid on.  Although we do receive a number of donations from the businesses in our surrounding communities, the Auction would not be possible without the extraordinary gifts of our school parents.

Our teachers have given exceptional support to the Auction this year.  They have been kind enough to donate a Silent Auction item for which they have all contributed as a group.  A number of teachers have made purchases toward the Wine Grab Raffle.  As some teachers have done in recent years, an even greater number have offered to donate their personal time and energy in the form of a student/teacher fun activity which we are making available for bid in the “From HTS with Love” section of the Silent Auction.  We are truly appreciative of their time!

We are grateful to Mrs. Stevenson and Fr. Ken for the personal way in which they both support the Auction.  Thanks to Mrs. Ruggiero, Mrs. Ludwick, and Mrs. McGinley for their help with many of the Auction’s administrative needs, and to Mrs. Boehm for her assistance with the classroom baskets.

We offer a special thank you to the school families who donated time as volunteers.  We are especially grateful to the families of the Auction Committee for all of their personal sacrifices.

With sincere gratitude,

Dea Marcello and Leslie Williams
